EX has been formed by ex-members of Deus e o Diabo, Rafael Martinelli, Thiane Nunes and Guilherme Klamt. Between 1998 and 2006 they have made some gigs in the Porto Alegre alternative scene circuit and also other ones outside Rio Grande do Sul, then releasing two independent CDs, "DEOD" and "Summers Die". EX, which also features Cristiano Sertório, Julio Leal and Gustavo Bode, has released a CD called "Ainda" in 2008 that is available for free download at www.sitedaex.com. The album was produced by Thomas Dreher, who has previously recorded the DeoD albums. The music is basically dark rock with some influences of the 80's sound
