RIDA-B Rida-B is all about the Party Hype. He’s an MC born in Eastern Europe, but tearing it up in Greater China since 2007. With original roots as a rock guitarist, passing thru Drum & Bass, Breakbeat, and UK Bass Music (Funky, Dubstep, Funkstep) he’s the guy you can rely on to absolutely throw the party into a frenzy every single time. He’s also co-founder of one of the most active websites www.drumandbass.lv and a member of Basskake crew. Rida’s been in the scene for some eight years now, mainly as an MC at some of the major live events in Eastern Europe [Connexionz in Riga, Latvia, Sundance Music Festival in Estonia] performing alongside artists like DJ Bailey, Dieselboy, Ill Skillz, Future Prophecies, Evol Intent and Paul B. Since 2007 he’s been a central part of the RIDDIM crew, helping to develop serious local interest in Dubstep, UK Funky and Drum and Bass at venues like Alfa, Obi-Wan and White Rabbit [Beijing]. His previous label collaborations include Viberations, Bio-Codes and Disturbed Recordings but now he’s working on some top secret China stuff with seminal producer Mobidextrous and a Chinese singer Miss Melody. Rid's recently into making beat so wait for some serious stuff to be dropped in near future.
