Romantic comedies, usually, or any comedy (except the dumb-stump ones), but I don't appreciate breakage of the 4th wall. That being said, my absolute favorites I can think of are at the moment are Independence day (extended), eternal sunshine, the hudsucker proxy, the matrix, all the lord of the rings...es... and like... some other stuff, OK!? I likely wouldn't go to the movies to see a comedy. I also likely wouldn't GO to the movies

Hate TV, but get serieses on DVD. Haven't seen the new ones, but some of the ones I can think of at the moment; Perfect strangers, Rhoda, Hawaii 5-0, PERRY Fing MASON rules (expeshilly in hi-def), BNsg, Square1, SCTV is better than SNL and I also like Almost Live (as you would expect if i liked BNsg), used to like sesme street before it sucked. No, it's not cause i got older, it's because it sucks. The simpsons, ray charles and emerson, lake and palmer used to be on seseme street. Now it's "this is a six, and this is a *green* six". Ugh

A few... Science crap. So... I was reading at a college level when i was 7 because of the Radio Shack catalog. Interest equals practice. There, I said it. (Radio Shack is like the Tandy stores)

Regular games and social ones, that's a lot. Table game is probly Apples to Apples. Then GOOD video games in which you drive, and the occasional FPS.

I have a general interest in what the status quo does not. Knowledge and skill tends to follow suit. Exceptions are noted especially where being an exception appears normal. You could vaguely describe me as the personification of stereotypical transcendence. I want to fix everything, and I am very good at holding things together that really fell to pieces long, long ago. That really applies to about every arena you can think of. It is a valuable skill, and a debilitating handicap when overused. I have the ability to make anything better and I have a knack for working around problems. I have the ability to use that for good or for evil, but my real problem is being either way *on purpose*. That's changing pretty quick. I don't even know HOW to play baseball. If something is a sport-type activity I'll be interested in, let alone expected to be engaged in, it's kind of a requirement that machines need to be involved, and something had better be exploding. Repeated encouragement to participate when such things are lacking may result in injury or death. Consult owner's manual before operation. Some states may not allow such limited rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state... But frankly, i don't give a crap. So don't bother. You have been warned. I do not like indirect speaking. I do not like beating around the bush unless it's for fun. But that's kind of like driving on slidey tires. Eventually, you want to stop mucking about and really get somewhere. Word games for the point of avoiding offense, not having to say no, or to sound more polite are something I have low to no tolerance for, depending on the situation. That being said, I have very good PR skills... Ish. I like Driving and Music. I work hard and I play hard. Or at least, that's the idea. Working tends to be overfocused or seemingly insurmountable, and playing tends to be bogarted by what hasn't been done that day. Too many of my toys/tools (there is mostly gray at this age, along those lines) are out of commission. That makes me a sad panda. Some intitial conversations tend to lead one to believe i am a stereotypical gearhead type. So for clarification there; I am not really a "car" guy, or an "anything" guy, for that matter. I am very multifaceted. An example; the cars thing: I am not just into "cars". I am into learning and engineering, and things that blow up. Cars cater to those tastes. 1,800 controlled explosions per minute at idle? Is this a question? First I was into vacuum cleaners, then mowers and tractors, then cars, and now i am getting into planes. I am *still* into all of them. Make sense?
