Herb received a B.A Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky in Lexington KY, where he was inducted into Tau Sigma Delta Architectural Honorary. Herb also has a Master of Science in Interior Design from UNCG in Greensboro, NC where he received "The 1997 Graduate Excellence Award" School of Human Environmental Sciences Department of Housing and Interior Design for outstanding graduate performance in scholarship, leadership, and service, and the Recipient of the Harry Byrd Lee and the Ester F. Segner Scholarships. School of Human Environmental Sciences, UNCG 1996. Herb has over 30 years experience in education at Forsyth Technical Community College and has served as adjunct faculty at UNCG and Salem College in the Interior Design Department. He has received numerous awards for excellence in teaching, and leadership in education and technology. As an educator he has created and taught over a dozen new courses relating to architecture, animation and digital design and is recognized as an innovator in this field. He is a licensed architect in the State of North Carolina. His knowledge and skills are also known internationally as a guest lecturer on digital design, architecture and sustainability in Finland, Belarus, and Russia. He was a Member of first U.S. Delegation to complete a certificate of training in Russian business, law, culture, and economics at the Gazprom College of Oil and Gas. Volgograd, Russia. Herb is a collaborator to the Center for Design Innovation, Piedmont Triad Design Consortium Serious Gaming Group, Design Leadershop, licensed architect in the state of NC, and President of ABRO Winston-Salem (http://abrows.org/).
